Everything you need to know about selling homemade food from your kitchen in Wyoming.
Wyoming's $250,000 revenue cap (tied with Florida for highest in the nation) lets you sell homemade dairy, eggs, fermented foods, and even rabbit meat from your kitchen -- making it arguably the broadest food freedom law in the country.

Annual revenue cap
$250,000/year
Wyoming's Food Freedom Act (2015) is widely considered the best cottage food law in the country. $250,000 cap with 250,000 unit cap. No license, no inspection, no training required. Allows nearly any food except most meat. Perishable items must be sold direct-to-consumer; non-perishables can be sold wholesale to retail stores and restaurants. Online sales allowed but shipping prohibited. Direct sales require no labeling; indirect/retail sales require allergen and home kitchen disclosure.
