How long should pickup windows be?: 2–3 hours total, split into 30–60 minute slots. Long enough for customers to fit it in, short enough you’re not waiting all day.
How many orders per slot?: Depends on your prep capacity. Start with 3–5 per slot and adjust. Better to sell out than scramble.
Should I offer delivery instead?: Pickup is simpler, cheaper, and lets you batch orders. Most cottage food sellers start with pickup and add delivery later if demand is there.
Can I use different hours on different days?: Yes. Select each day individually and set its own start and end time. Saturday morning and Wednesday evening? No problem.
