One of the most permissive cottage food laws in the US. No revenue cap, no license, no permit, no inspection, no training required. Tennessee Food Freedom Act (T.C.A. Section 53-1-118) amended July 2025 to allow pasteurized dairy and eggs. Perishable items must be sold in person only. Non-perishables can be shipped in-state.
